Drug De-Addiction Awareness Program was successfully organized in collaboration with Care Bridge Women Child and Youth Welfare Society with the objective of creating awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy and responsible life. The keynote lecture was delivered by Mr. Bilal Ahmad Sofi, Counsellor, who highlighted the psychological and emotional aspects of addiction. Mr. Rajesh Verma, SHO, Police Station Gharota, addressed the gathering and informed students about the legal implications of drug abuse and stressed the role of law enforcement agencies in combating drug-related crimes and encouraged students to become responsible citizens by spreading awareness in society. Mrs. Mini Patiyal, Associate Professor, Bee Enn College of Nursing delivered an informative lecture on the health hazards associated with drug addiction and also emphasized preventive strategies, healthy lifestyle practices, and the importance of peer support in preventing addiction among adolescents and young adults. Students of GNM, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Allied and Healthcare Courses, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing participated in the event.
