About Us

Introduction:


Bee Enn Nursing Institute (A unit of Bee Enn Charitable Trust) was established in 1998 to start General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) training programme and was progressing steadily. In 2009 Bee Enn College of Nursing was established to conduct B.Sc(N) training programme with intake capacity of 50. In 2013 Post Basic B.Sc(N) training programme was also added with intake capacity of 50. The intake capacity in both the courses was enhanced to 60 in 2018-2019. The college is located at ChakBhalwal, Jammu and is affiliated with the University of Jammu and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, J&K State Nursing/ Paramedical Council and approved by the J&K State Government.

Aim


The college aims to prepare competent nursing professionals who can assume the role of holistic care provider, manager, supervisor, educator, researcher in different health care setting.

Vision


The vision of Bee Enn College of Nursing is to create dedicated Nursing Professionals who are globally competent, ethically and morally responsible, socially committed and highly dedicated to the noble cause of providing all possible healthcare services for the poor and downtrodden masses of the Jammu and Kashmir region in particular and the society in general, with a human and holistic approach.

Mission


The Mission of Bee Enn College of Nursing is "HEALTH FOR ALL" as envisaged by the World Health Organization. This is sought to be achieved thorough state of the art infrastructure and Nursing innovative practices in nursing education and research in inculcating scientific, social, ethical, moral and spiritual values in the nursing professional.

Objective


On completion of Basic B.Sc Nursing Degree and Post Basic B.Sc program the students will be able to :-

  • Apply knowledge from physical, biological sciences, medicine including alternative system and nursing in providing Nursing care to individuals, families and communities.
  • Provide promotive, preventive and restoration health services in line with the national health polices and program.
  • Participate effectively as member of the health team in health care delivery system.
  • Demonstrate leadership and managerial skill in clinical/ community health setting.
  • Conduct need based research studies in various settings and utilize the research finding to improve the quality of Patient care.
  • Practice with the framework of code of ethics and professional conduct and acceptable standards of practice with in the legal boundaries.
  • Communicate effectively with individual, group and members of the health team in order to promote effective inter personal relationship and team work.
  • Apply the latest trends and technology in providing health care.
